District Staff and School Related Groups |
| Group 1 |
School-based organizations and youth groups (4H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.) that meet solely for the benefit of the school or group. There is no fee for regular use, defined as 2 hours of classroom use with normal utilities during regular work hours. Group 1 organizations may reserve for the entire school year. However, if a conflict arises with a school activity after initial approval, access to the facility may be denied. A security deposit and cleaning deposit will be required. An insurance policy will be required. Use of equipment or facilities for special occasions or large-group events will be subject to the fees assessed to Group 2. |
| Group 2 |
Community–based youth groups and youth activities or groups sponsored by the Recreation Department. Groups may reserve a facility for temporary or emergency use for a maximum of 90 days and may reserve a facility no more than 90 days in advance of the first scheduled use. Extensions may be requested by submitting another Use of Facilities form. An insurance policy will be required. A security deposit and cleaning deposit will be required for all uses. |
| Group 3 |
Organizations which meet for cultural activities, senior citizens groups, adult recreation groups, fine arts groups, health and welfare groups, charitable organizations which do not charge for attendance at sponsored activities at the various sites. Groups may reserve a facility for temporary or emergency use for a maximum of 90 days and may reserve a facility no more than 90 days in advance of the first scheduled use. Extensions may be requested by submitting another Use of Facilities form. An insurance policy will be required. A security deposit and cleaning deposit will be required for all uses. |
| Group 4 |
Profit-making organizations which meet at school to plan, perform, entertain, display or provide a service or product for which there is a charge to one who attends and or to which an income/profit accrues to the organization or any of its members or subcontractors. Even if part of the income derived is shared with the school or district, the Group 4 fees shall be added to any minimum or percentage. Groups may reserve a facility for temporary or emergency use for a maximum of 90 days and may reserve a facility no more than 90 days in advance of the first scheduled use. Extensions may be requested by submitting another Use of Facilities form. An insurance policy will be required. A deposit will be required. |
